ADHD & Menopause Workshop
April 25, 2026 - 12:00–5:00 PM ET
ADHD Was Hard Enough. Then Came Menopause. A 5-hour workshop to help you understand what’s changing, and why everything suddenly feels harder.
What’s Happening
Does ADHD get worse with age? Women 40-and-better say YES!
You can’t remember that word for ????? (but you are sure it starts with a ‘T’). You’re even more emotional than usual. And sleep – always difficult – is now impossible: hot flashes, cold chills. It’s enough to convince you to be checked for early onset dementia.
Highly doubtful, but you might be in the throes of the “climacteric” – the 7-10 year perimenopausal era that sends your hormones into roller coaster land and your ADHD brain into chaos.
Knowledge is power so I gathered up the latest, cutting edge research and info about the “change of life” for ADHD women and turned it into a five-hour workshop. It’s live, interactive and packed with straight talk about menopause and the ADHD brain with special emphasis on hormones and practical ideas to help you weather the midlife storm.
Not 40-and-better? New research reveals that ADHD women are more likely to hit perimenopause 10 years ahead of everyone else. That means you could be enduring these changes as early as your 30s!
And if you’ve already passed that final period (the actual date of menopause) you know that some of those perimenopausal symptoms refuse to back down even at age 70, 80 or 90.
Join me for this enlightening session. Includes a downloadable 70-page workbook and a video recording of the entire workshop.
Why This Matters
But why does estrogen affect my ADHD?
Turns out, estrogen receptors in the brain actually increase the available dopamine, that tiny chemical neurotransmitter that is a quart low in the ADHD brain. When estrogen is low, ADHD symptoms go high and the opposite is true, too. High estrogen brings better focus, higher productivity and a more settled sense of self.
Unfortunately, the trajectory of estrogen at perimenopause is mostly down bringing along exaggerated ADHD symptoms. But there’s more: estrogen is reluctant to disappear from the scene so it overcompensates by shooting up to its highest-ever level before plummeting to new lows. Eventually, after several failed attempts to secure its place, estrogen hits bottom at menopause and ADHD settles into a new normal.
ADHD & Menopause is a workshop that explains the highs and lows in plain language with plenty of illustrations for visual learners.

What You’ll Walk Away With
This workshop is for you if…
…you want solid, evidence-based information about the unprecedented changes that are overtaking your body. Menopause is a whole body, whole life experience. It affects every part of your life. Honor its importance. Treat it (and yourself) with care.
You don’t need to troll the web looking for every single research paper about ADHD, menopause, estrogen, carb cravings, ‘power surges,’ body fat redistribution, thinner skin and hair. It’s all right here, annotated for easy reference.
This is the workshop that can change your life while menopause changes your body and brain.
Program Features:
- 5-Hour Live Workshop: A focused, real conversation about ADHD and menopause – what’s happening, why it’s happening, and why it feels so different.
- Clear, Practical Teaching: We’ll walk through hormones, dopamine, focus, memory, mood, and sleep in a way that actually makes sense. No overwhelm.
- Guided Workbook: Something you can use during the workshop and return to later when things feel confusing again.
- Replay Access: Can’t attend live or want to hear it again? You’ll have the full recording available whenever you need it.
Why It Works:
- You finally understand why things feel harder
- You stop blaming yourself for what’s changing
- You get language for what you’re experiencing
- You have something to return to when things feel off again
