Reuse is better than recycle
Do Dogs Really Need a Stroller?
That stroller reminds me that we ADD folks also need a little boost when we get tired halfway through doing the dishes or organizing our closets. Our initial optimism and enthusiasm can take a nosedive.
I Can See Clearly Now
The older I get, the more I forget
Complicate vs simplify
Occasionally I get this lesson handed to me and I swear I’ll remember it forever.
Then I forget it.
I think they call that lessons NOT learned. But here we go…
The bottom line of dealing with ADD is to simplify.
Simplify. Simplify, Simplify.
Instead I tend to complicate, complicate, complicate.
Bailouts, ADD and high anxiety
OK, it’s scary out there right now.
The $700 billion bailout (with MY MONEY!), the debates, the stock market, gas prices, jobs disappearing- when will it END?
I admit it, I fell headlong into a state of depression for several weeks. I was so overwhelmed with the bad news that I just shut down and moved like a snail through my life.
I’ve finally managed to get out of the muck and feel like myself again – and it took several proactive steps. I’m listing them on the chance you might need a helping hand, too:
Money, money, money
You know, I started this blog with the intention of being transparent about my own ADD issues so that other women – ADDivas all – could open up and share themselves honestly, without shame.
Most of the time I can do that. But bring up the big M (Money, of course) and my inner ADDiva wants to run for the hills. It’s just not a topic that I like to discuss openly. Why? Because of the shame attached. And yes, it’s got ADD written all over it.
