The ADDiva Network via http://addiva.net, (known hereafter as the “Website”) is committed to honoring and protecting your privacy, as it has from Day One of the launch of the Website. The purpose of this Privacy Policy spells out our continuing efforts to be fully transparent about how data is collected and used on the Website.

What information do we collect?

Information you voluntarily submit to our Website

We collect personal information from you such as your name,  email address, phone number or address. For instance, you are voluntarily submitting information to the Website when you fill out a web form, leave a comment, subscribe to a newsletter, sign up for a program or purchase a product. In addition, if you sign up for a program or purchase a product from us that requires a password, we store your user name but your password is not visible in our system or records. The only exception is when a general password is used for access to a program, e.g. Palooza.

Our site uses Cookies to log information about your visit to the Website. These Cookies may expire after your visit ends or they may persist as a “placeholder” for your next visit. Cookies remain active as a communication between your browser and our Website until they are deleted.

Third Parties

When you use third party software on our site, e.g. PayPal, Infusionsoft or WooCommerce, our payment processing services, they may transfer information about you for fulfillment of services or products, In other words, they may transfer your name and address to us so we can send you your purchase.

We only transmit your information to third party providers with your explicit permission. Third party providers are governed by their own privacy policies. Please check with them regarding the use of your personal information. The third parties used on our Website are:

Authorize.net – Our credit card processing service for payment of programs, services and products. While Authorize.net captures your credit card information, it is not retained by us after the sale.

Disqus – this service is used to add comments to blog posts on the Website. Your user name only is visible on the post. Disqus requires registration information which is only accessible via that platform, not by us. 

Google Analytics – this service tracks Website use and referring websites, but it collects only your IP address. No other data is collected. Your information is anonymous to Google Analytics. 

Infusionsoft – the software we use to send our newsletters, emails and to process orders from the Website. This software tracks your interest in particular programs so that we may provide a more personalized web experience. It also collects your email address, name and, in the case of purchases, your address and phone number. This information is used only internally.

PayPal – we use PayPal for online payment of programs, merchandise and products. We receive only information to fulfill your order. PayPal does not provide us with your bank or credit card information.

Survey Monkey – this service gathers information about your preferences but only with your explicit permission. 

TimeTrade – this service is used to schedule appointments and may collect your contact information (name, email and phone number) so that we can be in touch by phone or online video service. 

We do not share your information with other third party applications.

Security

When you enter sensitive information such as your credit card number on our site or with one of our third party applications, we do everything possible to ensure it’s security by using an SSL (Secure Socket Layer) that encrypts the number. While we use the safest possible procedures to protect your information, we cannot guarantee 100% transmission security because it is beyond our control. 

Information that is automatically collected

Our web software automatically collects specific information about you and your computer or device when you browse the Website. Examples of this include tracking your IP address, how long you spend on a web page, your operating system and browser and links clicked. We only use this information to provide you with appropriate and pertinent information based on your preferences.

How we use your information

We may use the information collected in the following ways:

  2. Membership and your personal account
  3. To send email, newsletters, promotions, articles, announcements. You may opt out of any of these communications with a simple “Unsubscribe” click at the bottom of any email we send.

The Website uses trusted affiliates (e.g. other coaches) to promote our programs, events and products. When an affiliate link is clicked, there is a cookie set to track the origin of the sale which we use to pay the affiliate a a referral fee.

We are also part of the Amazon Associate program, which refers a small portion of sales back to us if the link is clicked from our Website or email.

Newsletters & Email Announcements

Our newsletters and email announcements contain links that are tracked by our software. This tracking is not shared with any other entity except the email provider which limits the use of your information to our account only.

What’s visible publicly on our Website?

The only data visible publicly on our site is your username when you make comments on the blog posts.

UPDATE OR CHANGE

You have the right to update or change/amend your information at any time. Drop us a note at linda@addiva.net or click the UPDATE MY INFORMATION at bottom of any email.

OPT-OUT

You have the right to opt-out of any of our mailing lists or programs. There is a one-button “UNSUBSCRIBE” button on all our mailings. Or, if you prefer, send us an email at linda@addiva.net

FORGET

You have the right to ask us to erase or forget all your data. Just send an email to linda@addiva.net Note, however, that there are some instances when we may need to retain limited information about you for records, transactions and when required by law.

Sensitive information

We will never ask for sensitive personal information such as your Social Security number, your religious or political preferences, your racial or ethnic background or other sensitive topics. Please avoid sharing this information on our site. If you choose to do so, know that the data will be subject to the terms of this privacy policy.

Although the audience for this website is adults, we understand that children under the age of 13 may access these pages. We never knowingly promote our products to children and if we discover a child is subscribed to any of our lists, we will take immediate steps to rectify the situation. We never use information gathered, even inadvertently, from children for marketing purposes.
